That's a petition, and it is from July 2023.

I don't see how it is racist... it is posted by someone who is allegedly Eritrean themselves, and is calling for an end to the festival because of links to funding pro government factions.

There are maybe some racial intricacies around being Aksumite and what the rebellion is about, but I seriously doubt thats what you're intending to say Psycnet. I don't see how rebels v gov perspective can be thought of as racist though.

It sounds like the shooting happened in the parking lot, not in the mall. The shooter ran into the mall to ditch the guns though.

One of the journalists asked about Mexican cartels operating in Edmonton. The police said they don't think that is what happened here, but I didn't even know that would be a consideration.

The poster that you linked was from 2017 (which means they've been doing these for quite awhile).

The Change petition has 0 links, a lot of conjecture and references to events that don't match up with media reporting (eg, here's the local news about the Harrow event: https://harrowonline.org/2023/05/20/...lice-incident/).
