Geez how many pitches in the middle of the plate begging to be hit has Vladdy fouled off all year?

			BIGgio!
Question: so on a force play like that, doesn’t matter if the runner on third scores before the outs are recorded.

But if Cavan had gone to first originally, and they got the player who was headed to second stranded in a run down, would that run from third then count if he reaches the plate before the third out is recorded?

Biggio is playing good lately, and Schneider looks like he deserves a spot. Espinal has to be the odd man out.

That is correct. The run would've counted.

Biggio making sure he got the tag rather than heading to first and throwing to second, which he would've had time for, was such a high IQ play. Just what the doctor ordered.

Jesus De Jong. Everything about that inning was way more difficult than it needed to. But....

Yeah, that was a little scary, especially when we didn't have anyone else in the pen if Hicks couldn't get it done.

Apparently, umps hate framed pitches and heavily rely on framed pitches at the same time.
