He’s basically a discount bin Matt Chapman at the plate. He’s got significant amount of power but he strikes out like crazy…almost one third of the time. All or nothing guy.

DeJong is probably getting used to AL pitching but he’s not a guy that we will really want up in a high pressure spot. He’s also unlikely to be a Jay next season with at $12.5m team option for next year.

Jays have to battle for every run and again today could have put Boston away with one big hit .
Instead we’re tied
