Sharks ship 2/3 of 1st line

Rumors out of the Shark tank have GM Mccree on the phones thru the night. For the past few week it has been known the he was not happy with the performace of his team and wanted to shake things up.

It is rumoured that BOTH Arnott and Savard are moving to Long Island. Grier is also rumoured to be heading that way.


Although unconfirmed Mike Comrie was seen packing his bags and Bure was seen heading to the airport.

When asked about the deal GM Mccree had not comment he was seen heading to the bar for a few drinks.

There are other involved but no details were available.

Islanders move three players

UNIONDALE, N.Y. - Reports are indicating that the New York Islanders have acquired Jason Arnott, Mike Grier and Marc Savard from the San Jose Sharks.

Only hours after the Islanders were shellacked 5-1 by the Sabres, GM Wu pulled off another big deal shipping centre Mike Comrie, Valerie Bure, Ivan Novoseltsev and a 2006 4th Round pick to the San Jose Sharks for superstar Jason Arnott, Marc Savard, and Mike Grier. Also believed to be included in the deal is a reported $2.36M headed to the Islanders.

Nobody from either side could be reached for official comments Thursday night.
