Well deserved jersey retirement. Kipper will always be in my heart, especially retiring as a Flames and not going to the Leafs.

Well deserved. Happy to hear they've finally been able to work something out...think the Flames have been trying to coordinate something with him for a couple years.

Forever A Flame isn't a bad Idea, but not for legitimately great players like 2 and 25.
Robyn Regehr should be honoured by the team and Forever A Flame is great for a guy like him

They've probably been trying to find him for the past 2 years to schedule this. His play in games 5 & 6 vs. Detroit in 04 are still the two best games I think I ever saw from a Flames goaltender.
Glad to see this will happen.

That is the most i have ever heard him talk. Hilarious.
Conroy wasting no time to get the feels going again. Helps the team with new talent when you highlight legacy like this.
And I agree with Jiri...why is this so hard? Too much bungling. Took a little too long. It's fairly obvious who should get retired. And forever a flame hopefully is forever no more.

Agreed one of the best Flames ever. So great, that he completely ruined me for my goalie expectations in the crease forever.

classic Mike Richards. Even better to hear Ken King's voice at the end

Great news. Even though he payed a little in San Jose, he is synonymous with the Flames. If anyone deserves to have his number retired, it's him.

The nice thing is the players when they come into the organization recognize his legacy and nobody chooses to wear 14.

I'd retire Looch's number before Theo. Theo's got nothing on Looch.
