I have a pod on my cls550 in the winter and it looks pretty cool, but always looks better when I take it off.

The roof rack looks cool; the carrier not as much.

The roof rack is probably the least offensive part of this one:

I see the thread is inching back towards more drooling over safari 911 Carreras.

My body is ready.

Saw a Rolls Royce SUV driving around Sunridge the other day. I didn't even know they made SUV's so I had to look it up. It might be the most expensive vehicle I've seen in person now

Don't let the US MSRP fool you...

They're FAR more expensive here - https://www.rollsroycemontreal.com/v...ale_class=used

I have a troubleshooting question for you car experts. The dual zone A/C in my 2011 Fusion has been working/not working intermittently for a couple weeks, but only on the driver’s side. Passenger side is fine. One trip the driver’s side will blast hot air no matter what settings, next trip it’ll work like normal.

Is making sure the system is fully charged a good first step to attempting to fix it? I’m confident that I can figure out how to DIY it, and it looks like a kit isn’t too pricey, I just wanted to make sure I’m not barking up completely the wrong tree.

Thanks.

To me that sounds like a valve of some sort isn't opening reliably. You could Google the problem first, when my truck acted up like that it was a bad vacuum line. $3 DIY fix. But they could be electronic shutters, something could just need lubrication...

I don't see how recharging the A/C if it works fine sometimes would fix anything. If the refrigerant is the issue, you wouldn't occasionally get cold.

Thanks for the advice. I'll take a peek at the links.

I did Google things first, and I kind of latched onto something someone posted saying that A/C is finicky and they've seen systems that are a little bit low just stop working in strange ways, and it was an attractive place to start because of how cheap of a fix it is. Seems like it might not be the way to go, though.

Question: anyone know what the cheapest, easiest option for a tow is in Calgary? I need to get a quote to move a car 3km.

Yeah, not for an AWD car that I actually care about.

Depends on where the blend doors are located. Some of the really bad ones require the dash to be pulled entirely to do it right. My old 2014 F-150 got that treatment and it wasn't easy or inexpensive.

If you care about the car, should you really be going for the cheapest?

Do you have AMA?

Beat me to it. But I do believe there's some clause where the AMA membership can follow the individual. So in theory the AMA tow guy can tow a car that isn't owned by the AMA member. Worth researching for Corsi.
