Small sample size, but those show something regardless. It’s not like he put up those numbers in one or two games, it was 9.

Musty was cursed with the same problem that Ritchie and Danielson had- lack of true offensive talent around him. Lots of mistakes, missed opportunities, bobbled passes, etc. Couldn’t keep up with him.

What's there not to like with Musty? Really, I'm surprised he's not ranked higher by more sources.

He might even be good enough for Sandman not to cry, with Musty being taken while Danielson is on the board.

The big knock on Musty is his skating, it’s smooth, but needs plenty of work. After seeing how amazing he did at the combine though, I think he’s determined and athletic enough to improve significantly. There’s so many fancy stats out there that indicate there’s more under the surface than what’s plainly obvious.

Musty has a bad shoulder that he’s dislocated a few times in the past, and he’s had a torn labrum. Not sure if that’s what limited him to 53 games this season…

- michkov stock is rising
- most are saying he won’t get past Philly at 7 at this point
- kings have the upper hand on Dubois but depending on michkov situation montreal could reenter the race
- habs May be willing to move down

Wait… is that suggesting if michkov is taken in the top four, the habs would be willing to trade trade 5th overall to the jets in exchange for Dubois + 18th overall? Am I interpreting that correctly?

If so, that is a very ideal position for Winnipeg to be in. I doubt anyone else would pay that much for Dubois. And I don’t get the sense the flames could make the same trade with Montreal for Lindholm instead.

I think it’s more like “if michkov is there at 5, maybe they trade down and get some more assets for a Dubois deal from Washington or Philly”. If michkov is gone they may just want to take Smith
