Interesting names being thrown about. STL has 4 expensive blueliners with trade protection (Krug, Scandella, Leddy, Parayko). All struggled last year, and there are questions as to Parayko's back. Scandella is terrible.
Philly gave up a big cost to acquire DeAngelo, and Sanheim has regressed since he got his contract. Maybe a change of scenery type trade for some expensive players.

Blues must be looking to dump multiple bad contracts. And Briere isn’t messing around - if he’s moving Sanheim and Laughton as well, he’s gutting the roster.

I would not be surprised if he and maybe even Thomas (not necessarily this deal) get moved at some point. Plenty of rumbling locally that maybe these two are not the guys you build your franchise around

Kyrou had 73 points in 79 games, including 37 goals, which was 10 goal increase over the prior year.
I wouldn't call it a disaster of a season. Though the -38 does imply disaster.

That was the disaster I was thinking of. I think he was like -20 or something in the first 20 games. Turned it around a bit but could not keep pucks out of his net this year at all.

If Kyrou is involved, you'd have to think that means Konecny going the other way.
Sanheim has been terrible since signing his contract so Philly not giving up a lot there.

He’s 6’5 and has shown the occasional flash / hot streak that makes him look like the next great power forward for 5 games every year
I think teams think they can unlock some hidden potential despite him now being 31
