I can't believe that the Flames didn't offer him a contract.

SMH.

Great to hear. People seem to think he was a good guy off the ice so good on him for that, but on the ice he was awful.

If someone else wants to give him a job fair play to them but glad it won't be here.

Boston might come calling.

Loved Lucic as a person and he was an effective fourth liner for most of his time here. Wish him the best!

I can understand this being unpopular with some, but Conroy keeping his word. More youth and more opportunity.

Assuming they don't go out and sign a free agent around 35 to take that 4LW spot.

Time to move on and give someone younger a chance to grab a roster spot. The big man was great in the community and provided valuable leadership. Nothing but respect for him and his time as a Flame.

Still wonder if the Flames wanted to bring him back and he decided to move on or if the feeling is mutual that the organization and player wanted to go a different path.

This is like the ugly guy being given a hall pass from his wife. She knows no one is saying yes.

Prepare to be wrong. I now hope it's the Canucks who sign him for extra dig.

Good for Looch that he still has interest from other teams. Love the guy, but it’s time to move on. I wish him luck wherever he goes

I do think that last contract weighed on him pretty heavily. Now that he can get back to enjoying the game and not worry about his salary hindering his team he will likely be better off for it.
