Garcia actually gives up at least 1 run an outing. It's wild.

I’d rather watch Dolis pitch

What a strange game. The Jays were hitting Dunning hard but getting no luck. But it has just felt like the Rangers have been up to bat the whole game. Their AB's are just ridiculous. This isn't exactly a high score game but feels like a blowout.

Putting Cimber in might just change that

One more inning to go to get something actually done.

Do or die.

Why are we pinch hitting now? Kirk is not a good option in this situation.

Agreed, Varsho was having good at bats today.

Schneider needs to stop overthinking ####. Replacing a home run threat with a double play threat.

That was bull####. The jays had 4 straight hard hit balls all with favourable XBA's and just lining out everywhere. That game was peak 2023 Jays. Losing games that with any sort of break they win easily.

Had chances to win this, but even not withstanding bad luck, we still snatch a defeat instead of victory.

This season's overall mediocre crap.

At least the Os lost again.

The positive is that this is a game that we should have marked as an L before it happened. At least, it was competitive. I guess they saved Pearson to pitch tomorrow in leverage but I would have liked him to have come in instead of Garcia to keep it to a one run game.

It is the second time Schneider has pinch hit for Varsho in high impact situations…both times when he was high up in the order. Why put him in a key position in the lineup if you won’t let him hit when the game matters. To me, the worst you would get out of Varsho is a strike out and the best you could hope for is a home run. The worst you would get out of Kirk is a double play and the best is a double.

Fun fact: this season, with about 25% more at bats, Varsho has almost 2.5x more home runs than Kirk has doubles and twice as many doubles as Kirk does.

Replacing Biggio with Kirk would have made a lot more sense.

This. Schneider just needed to get out of his own way.

Jesus. What the heck was Vladdy doing there?! Yet another potential rally squashed because of a base running error. Absolutely inexcusable.
