Hate to go down the cliche route, but Darryl Sutter has probably forgotten more about NHL hockey than Huska knows.

My cousin isn’t Love or Huska. He’s lives in Calgary and has a connection in the organization somehow. He’s not part of the organization, however He was very certain it was a done deal. I’m passing it on. Maybe he’s got wrong info, but after I posted EF came out and now Weekes is confirming it. So I believe him. He’s never BSed about this before.

Yeah there was a mix up. With you and Walnuts.
Chill and go back to private time with your Connor mags.

Funny if Weekes gets two Huska coaching hires wrong.

Late to the thread - so Weekes's cousin is Huska?

Show me an example of any time in Huska's head coaching career where his teams were offensively creative? I give you the defensive structure but unless they are hiring an AC whose talents are creative offense this team will struggle to score because that just not in Huska's toolbox. At least nothing we have seen thus far. Like I said though, I hope he proves me wrong. I don't care if Ronald McDonald is the HC as long as the team has success.

At this point it is entirely possible that I am Ryan Huska. I cant be sure anymore.
Is this The Matrix?

It is a good thing he is gone, if that is the case.

You sound like you followed every minute of Huskas career? Can you give specific details on how he restrained his teams offensively?

While it sounds like it's going to happen, as mentioned above Weekes was way off on Eichel and because of that his takes are meaningless to me.

I don't know every minute of Huska's career, I did watch quite a few Adirondack and Stockton games when he was coach. Can you give specific details on what forwards he coached in the AHL that went on to fulfill their potential? Can you tell us about his success being a head coach at the pro level? How about how much offense his AHL teams generated up front?

lol I think you know that’s slim pickings just by the absolute graveyard of forward prospects we had at the time.
But Mangiapane is a success story, for sure.

I don't need to show any examples.
The GM of the team clearly talked about the type of style he wants the team to play - structure defensively, creative with the puck offensively. Why would he hire someone who won't coach that style?

As opposed to Sven Baertchi. Emile Poirier. Morgan Klimchuk. Hunter Shinkaruk.
Spencer Foo. These are all guys who has promising upside that didn't develop under Huska's watch. So he hit on one guy.
