I think it's Bob coming off his game that is now the difference and rest of the team lost swagger because of that. Everyone pretty much knew that for Panthers to win Bob would have to play out of his mind. It's going to be a short series if he can't get back to form.

He’s never been the best playoff performer, but his two-way game is incredibly valuable even when he isn’t scoring. They could definitely use some of his, and Chucky’s for that matter, scoring right now

Thing is, I think Vegas is burying a lot of the same chances Carolina didn’t finish. Because Vegas has more finishers. I thought Carolina outskated Fla as well (not by as much). Bob was the difference there. He’s just not saving their bacon so far.
EDIT: Ain’t it nice to talk hockey and game play in GTs?

They've gone from looking loose, confident and intuitive with the puck on their sticks to looking hesitant and like they don't quite trust themselves or their teammates like they did before.

Well I disagree...they have been out chanced in all but 3 games in the entire playoffs. Sometimes badly.
Goalie kept them in it with incredible play...which is all good but not sustainable
It's not like this is a new take from me
