I mean this was their year, 150 point player, 4 players 100 points. Historical PP/shooting pct, I don’t think they will get this close next year. Choked hard like the leafs.
This 100%. This year was their window. They have major cap problems and a still a brutal defense and will have even less depth next year. That and they cracked their goalies confidence, this couldn’t have gone any better.

The Laughs are out.
The guy who wouldn’t sign long term and picked his spot to have a great life style and enjoy life is still playing and most likely will have a short summer.
The Flames contingent for Canada in Worlds are doing fine.
And we still got Wranglers hockey!
I want to take this moment to congratulate the Edmonton oilers on making the second round of the playoffs. With them progressing from the third round this year they're now on pace for their goal of the 1st overall pick in a few seasons. Trust the process.

Eichel was really, really good for a lot of that game. He made a silly error on the 4 on 3, was way to casual with the puck, but playing against McDavid he was really strong, a bunch of takeaways and stick interference... just really put McD off all night I thought.
You folks out East who want to see what a real “core” player looks like when the chips are down? Ya, you’ll have to stay up past midnight to see the third period.

Sorry, Petro. If you favour a game where guys can “Paul Bunyan” the other team’s star in the final minutes of a game the way you did, maybe you should find a spot in the World Axe Throwing League.
I hear it’s on ESPN, right before Game 7.
