Lol. Race control refusing to red flag it and leave enough time to resume. They let that clock tick down an extra 20s intentionally because this grid will save the race. Otherwise we looked to be in store for another snooze fest.

Yeah Leclerc just doesn't have that consistency. Exceptionally fast but just can't find that line. Makes me happy to see Ver get stuck in 9th tho. This track is 💩.

I'm 100% on Team Checo now for the WDC.

Even if they had thrown the red flag right away it was going to be difficult to restart. And it would have been a gong show with drivers jockeying for position and clean air.

If I could get rid of two people from Sky Sports, it would be Nico Rosberg and Danica Patrick. If I could only get rid of one, I won't let recency bias get to me, it'd have to be Nico. But damn, every time Danica speaks it's like nothing of value comes out.

You’re probably right but it sure seemed like they took their time to make sure there was no doubt.

Her post qually interviews were good but I do not enjoy her on the pre show coverage.

I love Danica, maybe that's because I got to meet her in Phoenix, but I think she's adding value.
She's doing Hungary and Singapore this year too. She's pretty pumped about Singapore.

I didn't stick around for post race. She just says stuff for the sake of saying words, and often is wrong. Other times it is so obvious it doesn't need to be said.

Could they not get Mister Worldwide, Pitbull, to do the driver introductions? I know many people don't like him but his energy is pretty over the top and funny to watch.

He played the post race concert the year I was in Austin, it's was a crazy high energy show.
