Miikka Kiprusoff, Jarome Iginla.
I love Gio, he should be a 2x Norris winner, but he’s just not those two.
They were special.

I'll say Matt Stajan. I hated him for a long time as the "return" on Phaneuf. But he was a good dude, and a good team mate. My opinion of him changed when I saw him score a goal (something like his 3rd of the season) and skate back to the bench and say "Still got it."
Right now, big Zad is probably my favorite, he seems super genuine and a really likeable big man.

To those who don't have Iginla on your list, can you explain?
During our worst period (and our best post-Cup period) he was our best player. By all accounts, a freaking gentleman off the ice, and a monster on the ice. Loyal to the Flames for 17 years. As special as they come.
How could he not be in your favorites list? Genuine question.

I've never really had favourites since I was a kid, but it was hard not to like Jarome Iginla the most during his peak years.
Another that comes to mind was Michael Ferland in the '15 playoff series against Vancouver. Loved him until injuries started to wreak havoc.

You should probably at least get the spelling of your favourite player’s name right.

He just isn't. It isn't anything against how special he was, he was just never one of my favorites.

So many ragged on Iggy during his time here and tried to walk him out. All Eric Francis did was spew trash about him and try to get him traded.
Now everyone has on the most likable list go back to 2011 and I think those same people are signing a different tune.
The same guys are around a few changes from last year.
I actually really liked Huberdeau and his attitude and enjoyed the growth of Hanifin this season as well.
