Craig was great at interviews but I thought letterman had the better overall show. I can’t even watch late night talk shows anymore, the bar was set too high.

I liked Letterman’s dgaf, low-production values, just throwing whatever at a dartboard to see if it’s funny early NBC years. Then he morphed into Jay Leno and it was meh. Conan was also good early on in his career and took the same turn. It was all generic and vanilla. Ferguson kept with it, and didn’t really sell-out like the others.
