Back end of the bullpen was terrible today, hopefully can land a few more arms at the deadline.

The problem is this year is so competitive that if you hold until the deadline the price will be higher than it is now. Obviously most management teams are overconfident in their own players, or hope their own players will emerge, but with so much divisional competition it's time to be open and honest in knowing the team doesn't have a set up man or a long reliever. I'm sure to some degree management knows it, but I do wonder how Rogers' financial plans work with ad-hoc money being spent this early into the season? I'm sure whomever gets brought in would come with a higher salary.

They’ll filter out the bottom guys as the season goes as they always do.
Bass is on thin ice.

Bah, too bad the bullpen finally got touched up. They were on a roll. I wonder why Schneider isn't using Pearson.
Anyways, I think the bullpen is decent overall, but probably not as dominating as they had been recently. Hopefully they can add Green before the deadline so they can see if he's still a stud, and then if needed maybe add another solid BP arm at the deadline via trade.
Hopefully Juenger keeps dominating in AAA too. Maybe he ends up being a part of the puzzle. Plus, I wouldn't be surprised at all to see Tiedemann added to the BP at some point later this season too.
