A Stanley Cup in any Canadian city is a legend forever. Smaller market American teams with good fanbases that have never seen a win are okay too.
So in the East, only Toronto. In the West, Edmonton or Winnipeg, then either Minnesota or Seattle. I know Vegas hasn't won a Cup, but #### 'em.
Knowing how my interest usually correlates with what actually happens, all these team will go out in round 1 and we'll be left with all my least favorites in round 2.

The Oilers have 5 Cups and you want them to win another? You want your Oiler friends to shove it down your throat for the next 45 years?

I only have one friend who's an Oilers fan and he's the nicest guy I know. I'd be pretty happy for him and his boys if the Oilers won.

I can watch any playoff games I love how it gets ramped up.
But I dont enjoy watching former flames
and watching oilers get ousted.

So you just don't participate in sports rivalries at all?

Don't care who wins as long as it's not Edmonton.
I do think all the Eastern series' look incredibly intriguing. Should be some great hockey. I'm very interested in the battle of the pests, Tkachuck vs Marchand.

Cheering for the Kings in the West and a dogfight in the East. This is looking to be a pretty epic first round. Lots of great series. For example, I’m really psyched for Devils/Rangers.

Yeah as much as this playoff structure isn't always the most "fair" if you're a fan of one of the teams in the playoffs.
The 2 vs 3 match up structure does tend to create some pretty amazing matchups.
Oilers-Kings
Leafs-Lightning
Devils - Rangers
All three of those series should be a lot of fun.

I won't be following any of them really. But I'm always curious about results, story lines, etc.
Edmonton can get swept, thankyouverymuch.
This may be heresy, but I'd like too see Toronto finally get past Tampa. I'm tired of Tampa, time for them to ride off into the sunset like Washington and Pittsburgh. I've always liked Gio and Brodie and I'd like to see them have some success.
Toronto has been a good team for awhile and they will always be the center of the universe so I've come to accept the attention that franchise gets. It's much less nauseating than the misplaced sense of self importance that Edmonton has.

Maybe just the NJD-NYR series. After that, my SNNow subscription should expire which means I'm done with hockey for a while.
Actually, maybe I'll tune in to the Leafs just for Gio-Brods.

Not really, unless it’s at the cost of Buffalo or Calgary I’d rather see teams my buddies like pull off wins and championships. Sports rivalries in general is a silly thing to get overly concerned about in the modern world - it’s not like these are all Calgary boys representing the city, just a bunch of highly paid guys from all over the world pulling on a sweater.
Except for the New England Patriots, they can suck it forever.

I was going to say Gio and Brodie. They're deserving guys.

Playoffs aren't what they were. Doesn't meet the hype like it once did. Now it's an extension of the regular season with more fan involvement.
When BoA is a huge letdown from an intensity/physicality perspective and no one seems to really hate one another you know you've got issues.
Miss when it was a war. Game is too soft and called too tightly now. It's becoming McHockey.
