I've said all season I'm okay with writing this season off but man, this absolute middle mediocre lifestyle funkin blows. Do you want to win a championship or not.

It seems to me that the only plausible explanation for what just happened is that Sutter wants out and wanted to make sure, with absolute certainty, that upper management and ownership would have no other choice than to fire him. Like, it's not a question, or an argument or a debate. There's no choice. It has to happen and Sutter has orchestrated it.

First, Tkachuk is on Treliving. Should've locked him up when he had the chance. Second, Fox, so just throw away assets when they don't want to sign. People let Treliving slide so much. He's made so many not-so-great decisions that are going to handcuff the team (but people will blame the owner).

You didn't even know who Brad Treliving was before he signed. Nobody did.
I hate this argument so much. It's a big hockey community. Who comes in may be yet another nobody, or a familiar face, but could do a better job than Brad. The bar honestly isn't that high.
Not a single season with back-to-back playoffs. (Not including the play-in playoffs in 2020) Go through a billion mediocre coaches. And lose two of your most important players in a single off season. Very impressive.
