I have been a fan for 40 plus years but does anyone really think if this team somehow sneaked in to the playoffs they would do damage? To me it seems like it would be an easy four game sweep

However many it takes to leave a guy open for an empty net goal in a critical game.

People tend to blame Markstrom by default any time anything goes wrong, but in this case, he's 100% to blame.
He's starting to remind me of Mike Smith.
Brutal giveaways while playing the puck, breaking sticks in frustration, brutal goals at the worst times.

I feel bad for the rest of the players to be honest. I’m definitely not saying they have been perfect by any means but how demoralizing must it be playing in front of a tire fire of a goaltending tandem that we have witnessed this season?
They are constantly putting the team behind. It’s beyond ridiculous at this point. They are the single biggest reason for this seasons failure.

Although I'd love for the Flames to make the post season. There is no team that I can see the Flames beating, who are currently holding spots.
