It drove me Crazy.

You had Huberdeau on an island on the LH half wall. Lindholm doing nothing in front of the net.

As Kadri, Toffoli, and Andersson passed it in a little trangle between the three of them accomplishing nothing.

Honestly the PP hasn't gotten enough criticism.

The powerplay misses someone who can play like a rover, like Gaudreau. We need a player that can get the opposition moving around more to open lanes. We don't really have a player with that particular ability.

He has 15 power play points this season. He had 38 last season. 25 in 55 games the year prior to that and 29 in 69 prior to that. So still flirting on that 30 plus point pace.

Its crazy how he has been misused this season no to mention 3 shorties last season and talked about how the penalty kill really helped his game.

It really is do or die tonight. If the Jets win and we lose we’re toast.

Need some help from the hockey gods.

Hopefully good Markstrom shows up.

Saros.

Good goaltending can cover up a lot of shortcomings.
Flip side is bad goaltending can generate them. Which we all witnessed this season.

I honestly question where any of you are getting your numbers.

I mean, what's the point of Cheese's amazing GDT if y'all are just going to ignore all the numbers he posts!?
Yikes ... quite the angry response to a simple omission of clarity.

My numbers are 5 on 5

But sorry ... I always see the game in three facets; 5 on 5 where you look at both sides in goals, the powerplay and PK in terms of comparing efficiency.

Goals for and against in all situations gums things up.

Even if we do make the playoffs I don't want to see Sutter behind the bench after this season.

Agreed, it would make absolutely no sense to bring back Sutter.

Or Kadri.

At the end of the day the all count the same. We have not scored enough to keep pace with the teams in our division.

We have the players to have a good efficient powerplay but they have not been placed in a position to succeed by the staff.

Agreed you can't fire a coach after a player quit on him and keep that player, they both have to go for different reasons.

Its game 80 with the season on the line and Sutter is rolling out the same lineup that got beat by Chicago and Vancouver.

Nashville even lose all remaining games they can't fall in the standings much. May be 1 or 2 spots. So I guess they will play hard tonight.

I don't get the sense that NHL players care as much about draft position as fans.

Make a man out of the kid and put some pressure on him. You can't baby people and prevent them from rising to the occasion.

Pressure makes diamonds. If he's not a diamond, I don't want him playing goal for my team.

Any dispute would come from a millennial.
