Burns was 31 at the time FWIW and was not a UFA. Nor was Vlasic or Seabrook.
Only UFA was Byrzgalov.
I meant to point out he was a UFA. Usually if your own team can’t be bothered to sign you at that age then it could be a sign. But you are correct, it has happened before a couple times.
It has only happened once with a UFA though, we are the second team to do it with a UFA that old.

Guess that Kadri-Huberdeau-Lucic line was just a post PK thing.

I bet the $84m dollars scares the owners.

Give the puck to Kadri who immediately gives up possession to the Canucks. Wash, rinse, repeat!!

They are UFAs whether with their own team or not, I think. They were not, generally, foreign team signings. But i don’t see a huge difference.

Kadri and Huberdau combining for short handed goal. Surprise surprise.

The thing I find most curious about the Huby signing, is that even at his best, he's not really a Sutter winger. He's weak on the boards and loses a lot of 50/50 battles.

I'm bored of this game, so all I'm doing is watching Kadri and evaluating his give a #### level from moment to moment in this game.
I have to be honest, it's not good. Doing just enough to avoid getting called out, but gives up on plays at the slightest sign of competition from the other team, and then skates lazily back to the bench.
If I was his teammate I would ask him "what did the five fingers say to the face!" in the dressing room.

These guys just don't deserve to make the playoffs. Looking like I will have more time to concentrate on calving and seeding.

I don’t think that’s correct - he’s a decent board player. But name a Sutter winger who is good on the boards. Lucic? Maybe Coleman? Certainly not Mangiapane or Dube.
Anyway, Treliving signed him, and it was to replace Gaudreau as a LW playmaker.

Every time we have a good shift, the 4th line comes out and loses possession.

Pretty excellent shift by Zadorov. You can see that some of these guys really still give a ####.

I love that Lucic just decided to not get off the ice. Brilliant work by Coleman/Looch.
Coleman having a great period…not.
