I have mentioned this before but look at all the players with term on their contract. They were all signed to these contracts before having played a game for the Flames, except for Rasmus.
The composition of the roster is curious.
Is it a surprise they've been griping about the coach being too hard on them?

They both quit on this team

Except I have history and evidence on my side. I don't care if a dozen of you tell me the Earth is flat regardless of factual evidence, it is round. But fill your boots.

That Zegras seems like a great kid. Loved his laugh when Lucic went at him. Would he go before or after Hughes in a redraft?

Backs has not been very good tonight, IMO. Some uncharacteristically lazy play tonight. Lots of floating, back checks not very good… get it together man.

I will never cease being amazed that the Flames have a guy who has a .932 save percentage in the AHL when second best in the AHL is .923 and they decide to keep trying these goalies in game 77 of the season. Just amazing dedication to not trying anything different all season. Hopefully they have six goals in them tonight because they will need 6 for the win.

Just checked the league standings. The ducks are the second worst team in the league.

Ageed. Paid mercenaries doctrine. Warrener is precisely correct with that assessment weeks ago on the podcast.

And Johnny Gaudreau is definitely signing a contract here.
You just go ahead and cross your arms and dig your heels in, little fellow, and it will all come true.
It's pointless discussing anything with you.

Sounds like it’s Darryl but organizationally they’ve been too slow and reluctant to plug in AHLers up in down and into the lineup. Needed to be much more fluid to inject that youthful excitement and energy which has been lacking most of the year. And almost all the young players that have come in are emerging to be good players at the NHL level.

It is true, I have provided evidence it has happened. Provide me evidence players would rather win a meaningless game then draft a generational player. I'll wait.
