Did I miss Bingo's Game Takes? I really appreciate the summary especially if I didn't catch the game (or I turned it off when Vegas tied it. Shame on me!)

What the vast majority of us are asking for is that all players be held accountable for their play, not just the young kids. Milan Lucic is currently this teams 14th best forward and should be treated as such (ie, not playing at all)
He was absolutely terrible last night, and provided nothing positive. He should be evaluated on the same basis the likes of Duehr, Pelletier, and Ruzicka are but that's simply not the case. That's the frustrating part.
It would be nice to see a truly optimized lineup based purely on performance for once this season.

I think so.
It was a pretty big issue to start the series for sure.
That's why the playoffs can be even more difficult when its you vs the stripes and they seem to have it in for us this season as well.

I mean… my previous case-in-point right here. You called Sutter a doofus for the line combinations and they won 7-2 so now you’re just complaining about something else instead of considering that maybe you’re wrong.
Again, I agree, Lucic sucks. But keep mentioning it and asking for players to be held accountable on CP, I’m sure the person here who coaches the Flames will get right on it.

Yes, there was a lot of special teams for both sides which was killing the flow, tiring half the team while the rest sat on the bench.
Getting hooked, held, tripped and interfered with every 30 seconds uncalled only for a light bump by us to be 2 minutes. We fought hard through the ref and Oettinger muck that series.

I did like when Sutter said we deserved to win that game 7 because we really did.
That was some tense times, I was wound up before game 7 as well waiting for the heartbreak and Jamie Benn scoring like a minute in it felt like here we go again.

No, I called Darryl a doofus for sitting Duehr after he's busted his ass to stay in the lineup and scored a massive goal for his team in the previous game. Nothing the Lucic line did last night changed that opinion or proved it to be incorrect.
Additionally I have been nothing but consistent in my opinions, so I am certainly not complaining about something new or moving the goalposts.
I am here to voice my opinions - if you don't like them, don't respond.

…you responded to me?
Again, they won 7-2, so maybe he’s not a doofus and maybe you were wrong.
I’m not pointing out inconsistency or moving the goalposts, I’m saying that for some people there is always something to complain about, even after a big win. It’s relentless and boring, and the some of you act like if you just keep repeating yourselves that you’ll somehow effect change or something, but nobody listening can actually do something.
Do you have anything outside of finding something to complain about? Some horse that we haven’t beat to death? Just asking.

Really hoping and praying Markstrom has truly turned a new leaf and the Flames get to go on their yearly hot stream, which sadly hasn't happened yet. Going to be hard to leap over a team or 2 in front of us, but at the very least the team seems to finally be gelling. Hopefully it is not too late.
Tyler Foli is awesome. That is all.

I think of Sutter as a very knowledgeable hockey coach. That said, last night's lineup felt like winning the lottery... A bad decision with a good outcome.

My first comment was that I would not have guessed the outcome with the strange lines, but it worked so no complaints, which I think was a relatively common sentiment.
Looking over the longer term of the season though it's still fair to question why Lucic is getting played as much as he is, and why his mistakes or poor play seems to go unnoticed by Sutter, who is pretty damn focused on preventing mistakes.

Good character guy, knows when to scrap, and has years of experience that is important for the younger guys. Haven’t heard anything negative about him as a teammate or person. And honestly I’d need to see the advanced stats on his play but I don’t think he’s the albatross out there some of you make it seem.
I get it, he’s on the tail of his career and he’s overpaid. Again, we knew that going in, it was the best option and he’s been way better than Neal. Can we stop relentlessly ####ting on the guy every ####ing thread?

Couldn’t agree more.
It’s even worse on Twitter too. So many of these 20 something wanna be Flames bloggers publicly bashing Lucic non stop and then using the fact that he blocks them as some stupid type of badge of honor.
Same goes for Sutter and Treliving. Everyone of these dudes were kissing the ground those two walked on in the summer and have now been demanding they are both fired since game 20.
It’s part of a bigger issue, but these types have no foundation for analysis and only care about instant gratification.

There is a lot of group think involved with these types I find. They find their echo chamber and go wild.

Lol people bitch about Lucic because he sucked at playing hockey and being overused by Sutter. He has no business out there at critical times. Defense or offense. He provides nothing.
Nobody says he is bad guy or bad team mate

What does bitching about him every game, win or lose, accomplish that bitching about him once or not at all doesn’t?

You can't understand that it's the way these wannabes are treating people?
Stars don't want to play in a city where they are going to be bashed constantly if they have a slump. These "fans" are hurting more than they are helping.

People just venting
I don’t think too many people expecting any thing accomplished
You can’t expect people to ignore him when he played badly because they already bitched before

I wasn't overly engaged with the game on. But I did not notice Eichel one bit last night. I had to check my yahoo app to check that he wasn't injured and not playing.
Vegas did look bad as a whole, but they need Thompson back and in form come playoffs. I don't think they can rely on Quick to be consistent enough to give them the goaltending they need to win a series.
