Who is the soft-spoken female commentator? Take a drink every time she calls a player a “fierce competitor.”

I think that is former tennis player and Canadian Stéphanie Dubois.

Well, that was a fun doubles match, just too bad Felix and Shapo lost to Bopanna and Edben 6-4 7-5, but good spirits on the court tonight. Old man Bopanna still can play some mean doubles.

Sinner is popping triple digit forehands in the desert.
Edit: Really excellent set of tennis from Jannik taking it 6-4, Fritz played ok, Sinner was just dominant.

Fritz just won set 2 6-4 and we need a 3rd set to decide who advances to the semi-finals.

Sinner makes his move breaking in the 9th game of set 3 and is serving for the match.
Edit: Sinner serves it out to love and awaits the winner of Felix vs. Carlitos which is coming up next.

Yeah, the serve will have to be working and Felix needs to keep the rallies as short as possible i.e. coming to net and playing on the front foot.

Interesting that Carlitos is looking for opportunities to come to the net early in this match as well.

Probably doesn't bode well for Felix when his service game is more than 10 minutes while arcaraz service holds are about 90 seconds

I think the points played on serve are something like Felix 32, Carlitos 9

I think that is also the first time Alcaraz has broken the Felix serve.

What is the rest of the tour going to do when Charlie perfects his serve…I’m already seeing improvements on his BH side compared to last season. And he might already have the best drop shot of all time.

Felix is playing well, needs to up that first serve percentage and has to hope that Charlie cools down a little.

Darn, Felix has a break point to get back on serve, but Charlie held and takes the opening set 6-4.

Well, when you hit two double faults in the same game, you're asking for trouble.
Edit: A loose game by Charlie and Felix breaks right back.
Edit 2: Big hold from 15-40 down by Felix.
