To be fair, listening to Francis drone sucks. Doubly so when there's nothing for them to talk about. You could tell Leslie was greatly annoyed their segment turned to spoofs. But I can't argue with it.
I'm more shocked Getz had nice things to say about CGY. I was always under the impression he hated the Flames.

About 2 years ago. Moved out west, and started with CSEC about a year or so ago. She was the 'Stamps TV' person last season, and does some work with the Flames as well.

The Flames are in the worst possible position: they are likely to miss the playoffs while also having a bad draft pick.
If the Flames do not make any trades they will be likely to remain in said worst possible decision. As such, it is wiser to either sell or buy, probably sell, to avoid this scenerio.
They should not be content or complacent with the current situation.

I just received a copy of the flames statement post deadline.
“It’s a process. Solution is in the room. Give the group another chance next year. Still in the hunt for a playoff spot. No moves so not to disrupt the team. Part of the process. Tried to make changes but didn’t like any moves. Other GMs are meanies. All of the good shopping was already done. It’s a process.”

I wonder if they could be possibly grinding something away with Carolina. I think the most likely situation is they do nothing but I could see them maybe selling high on Toffoli or maybe Backlund and then turning around and buying someone like JVR?
