Flames defense was perfect that period...Boston likely isn't held to zero HD often

Sure you need to score on your chances. But to say it messes with their minds is going too far IMO.

That was a nearly perfect period of hockey by the skaters...absolutely sewered by a ####ty goaltending performance. Vladar is all of a sudden looking like Rittich did right before he got traded away.

I'm so sick of this story. Same thing all year long no matter who is in net. Change the record.

New goalies next year please. I'm done with both.
 |
We just extended him as well so I doubt we can trade him.

You know.

Im going to put some of this on Sutter. He didnt name names but it was clear that he called out Vladar's performance on home ice yesterday and I think it might have back fired as Vladar looks even more shattered now.

Both goalies have no confidence, you can just see it. Not sure calling them out now was the right decision.

He'd be easier to trade. Cap hit is favorable, very favorable this year and a good contract afterwards. The Kings, Sens, and maybe even the Wild could use another goalie. I am sure I am forgetting a couple. We will not be able to move Markstrom though.

This team is not going anywhere with the goaltending we're having.

These guys need to toughen up. Darryl is volunteering his time because we have unfinished business. Sure he makes the playoffs on a percentage basis less often than Gulutzan, but the guy is here for all the right reasons and is a master motivator.

I dunno. Sutter doesn't really throw his goalies under the bus. Always calls out the team and the chances they give up in front of them. Goals against is a team stat and all that.

They just haven't performed consistently all year long. I'm more apt to look at the goalie coaches than I am at Sutter. He doesn't have much effect on the play of his goalies.
