Flames had a great game last game. Hope is up. A chance to finally put it all together and go on a run they have yet to have this season. Only to face their arch nemesis Sens and likely put up a stinker

I know I'm not the first to mention this
Because they don't give a crap about Calgary.

The Pelletier goal WAS on nhl.com though buried down the list that day.

He did get talked to by Tre. Tre said so in an interview during all star break. He said he did not like the optics of what Sutter said during “numbergate”.

Most interested to see if last game was a spark the offense needed. Don’t expect them to score 7 again tonight obviously but would be awesome to see them continue the nose for the net they had last game. Just none of the pedestrian stuff we saw against Detroit, please.

I surprised he divulged this -- I wonder if this is further evidence of the supposed friction between "lame duck" GM and "tenured" coach.

Alas, a topic for another day...

Hopefully both teams combine for 10+ goals as Flames are 3 and 0 in firewagon hockey.

There have already been a few potential "turning point" games this season; hopefully, the Buffalo game was it for real.

Cut it loose trying to be tight and suffocating is not working well for us at all. To many big breakdowns and goalies not making saves. So might as well try to win 6-4. It's a high scoring league now anyways.

I'd say so. I'd be surprised if we don't have a new GM before the draft.

Not sure how I feel about it. I kind of like Tree.

Is there an actual quote of Brad saying he talked to Sutter. It just doesn't seem like a thing he would say publicly.

It was a Q&A with Julian McKenzie in the Athletic.

Brady with a pretty funny interview with Ryan Leslie. Coles notes, friends off with Matt gone. Was a good run the last couple years, maybe he can get a video tribute.

Wouldn't call that friction. Just a diligent GM doing his job. I swear Tree has dealt with everything during his tenure the exact same. Pragmatic and professional. From highs and the lows. Dudes been even keel throughput.

If he's gone after this year, I'll miss the process.
