Flames have the second lowest shooting % in the league. Either they are super unlucky, lack talent or don’t get in paint. Maybe a bit of all 3. Lots of hard work and shots for little finish as usual so far.

I don't know about the rest of you but I freakin hate the system the Flames play in the offensive zone. Cycle it back to the point abd take a low danger shot or shoot from the perimeter on a low danger chance. That might work if you got some big guys that are constantly in front of the net but this team doesn't have that. It feels like a coach preaching a skilled group to play a non skilled system. I hate it.

Good goalies saves 92% of the shots they face. 90% sucks. The NHL is the best league in the world and the difference between great and not god enough is about one extra save per game (even less)

It is something that Kadri and Huberdeau have been bad/irrelevant tonight. They should be difference makers…but Kadri cost us a goal against, and Huberdeau is just kinda hanging around not doing anything

I think it is largely (c) - don’t get in paint. They don’t drive the net nearly often enough. I’d trade shot volume for shot quality.

Yep, a bit of all 3. Maybe a lack of natural scorers more than anything. Not a lot of snipers in the lineup.

At least two great Huberdeau passes not converted (TBF one was a pretty good shot on net). Kadri has been bad. I’d like to see Lindholm on that line.
