				 Flames 5 Kraken 2

			Flames 5 Kraken 2
- Lindholm and Coleman with three points
- Flames dominant in first half and then get into penalty trouble
- Quality start from Vladar; quiet for the first half and very strong in the second

			What a weird week.
Character win against the Lightning. Possible turning point I thought.
Play very spotty against worst team in the league (Columbus), quite fortunate to get two points.
Lay a total egg against Chicago, also worst team in the league.
 Another character win tonight.

Should be a wild finish. Flames could win the division, or finish 10th in the conference.

Flames need to be more disciplined and cut down on the penalties taken.

Yeah has to be something ...

They have Vernon at 15 as well, not 13.

I see it as great win against the Lightning, found a way in a game they dominated against Columbus, laid an egg against Chicago, and character win last night.

That Columbus game featured a great start (other than letting Gaudreau go), then two Jacket powerplay goals with Tanev out.

Columbus was kind of the swing game. Very, very close to walking away with zero points from that one.
As it turns out, 6 of 8 points against two horrible teams, an excellent team and a team you're fighting for a spot against.

5 points

If they lost to Tampa and won against Chicago, there wouldn’t have been a big deal

Well it went to overtime so for sure they almost came away with zero points but they pretty much out played the the whole way.

It was a 64.6% xGF game.

They showed up and went for it, just couldn't bury and gave up two powerplay goals.
