What a weird comment when Vladar was the 2nd best goalie in the game tonight...

I meant why would they want to steal our goalie coach away from us when Korpisalo played out of his mind tonight.

the weird comment was not your post.

It didn't directly set up the sequence for the 2nd goal (Columbus briefly got possession back), but it did allow the Flames to break out of the zone at least.
Keeping in mind that Vladar is still technically a back-up, I think he did a fair job. He gave the team a chance to win, that is all he really needs to do.

Squeakers? One. Arguably

A guy with career average 35 goals / 82 games scores on a PP one timer that crosses the royal road

You have to move cross crease to seal that up. The shot was perfectly placed such that it found a hole immediately before it could be sealed

What was the other squeaker?

The guys aren’t giving up much in the way of actual bad goals

Throw 20 muffins from outside on top of the stats, you’ve got a great stat line. Not what matters though

9-0-3 in 12 starts. That matters

He and Laine both dove in the same sequence Justice prevailed.

He dove in ot . Also remember he CHOOSE Columbus over Calgary. That whole Narrative he believed he would still be a Flame up to the last minute seems bunk. He was looking for the Flyera or New Jersey to make room they didn't so he had his agent contact Columbus . His Camp contacted the Bjs not the other way around . He can rot forever lol

I think not having JG here is OK. After watching is after game interview I really still believe he dosen't care about a championship. I think he still just wants to have a job in hockey and dosen't care. Collect the pay cheques and just have fun . I think choosing Columbus was a family decision and didn't really care as long as the fun college life continued and gets paid .

The numbers he has posted in junior and the AHL are simply insane. Wed all be so much more excited about a forward putting up the equal elite numbers for their own position as Wolf has in comparison to many of his goaltending peers, but the goalie voodoo just makes it hard to dive in fully to the hype for many fans.

The team needs to be seriously considering Wolf as the backup next year, not much more to prove in the AHL. Lots of season left to see which of the NHL tendies has the higher upside, but trading one of them certainly helps cap wise next seadon, and could bring in some assets from a position of strength. With that said, Im bullish on a Markstrom resurgence here in the second half that will make him valuable for some team to take a flyer on. And obviously Vladar is an up and coming goalie that lots of teams would desire.

What the heck is royal road, it was a bad goal...his pad and skate are in the net behind the post and that is why it goes in

That is not an HD shooting position

He wasn't great tonight, with a back to back coming up they will each get one game

Dude, it went in under his arm as he was moving right

Your screen capture shows nothing other than pretty good post seal, which was the desired position.

If you don’t know what the royal road is, you should educate yourself before responding
