But the most obvious Tanev facsimile out there is Schenn. Hope they don't overpay if he's their target.

Sutter has stated he likes Schenn. Honestly if they go that route and Tanev comes back it bumps Stone down. Might not be the worst thing.

Schenn feels almost as inevitable as Toffoli did last year.
I know he's played for the Kings, too ... was Darryl there at the time? Did they intersect in Anaheim?

I truly believe it sparked the team, during the second-period lull from the team, as the Jackets tied it up. Good for him to take the initiative to give them life.

From what you see, in the next year or two, will Pourier be that dman for the Flames? I have not seen many Wrangler games, but, am sure you have this season.

The way I see it, we just got ourselves some good practice in OT. 2 points was never in doubt.
Also, Vladar now 9-0-3 in his last 12.

Man I miss having someone who could pass the puck like Gaudreau on that 2nd goal.

Aside from all that — really not a whole lot to single out for anything resembling negative commentary. A strong win all around.

He'll need a bit. Still gaining the trust of the AHL coaching staff even now.
