This was the best I've seen Weegar look in a Flames uniform (admittedly, I have not watched many games). If we could only get him to hate the rest of league as much as he hates the Lightning.
Pelletier had a shift with Kadri and Huberdeau -- might have been because of Lucic sitting in the box for his fight? Either way, nice to see. He was noticeable in a good way when he was on the ice this afternoon.

Pelletier was good enough to earn another game.
Kinda want to see him on the left side with Lindholm and Toffoli. Put Dubé between Mangiapane and Coleman. I know this bumps Backlund to the 4th line, but I think it brings better balance to all four forward lines.

Was there a game or just a press conference?
Something tells me we look back at this game later in the season.

You can't break up the Backlund line right now. I'd rather dump Lucic to the 4L and try Pelletier with a real scoring line and see if anything clicks.

Exactly the quandary.
You say can't breakup the Backlund line.
I say you can't breakup the Kadri line.

Just have a feeling that Pelletier would have chemistry with Huberdeau. He’s got the wheels and smarts. The new French connection
