Markstrom was rightly pulled and his effort on the 2 on 1 was not good. In fact, it almost looked like he was so unhappy with the 2 on 1 and the defence against it that he decided not to bust his own back getting over on what was a sure goal anyway. Not a good thing but in a way almost understandable after being hung out to dry a lot this year.

It was a rough game for him, I thought
His first goal, he lost his footing and ended up on his back doing a snow angel
Second goal, I didn’t like - that’s about as juicy as rebounds get.
(I remember Kipper had awesome rebound placement. He basically caught everything he could, tried to direct everything else to the corner. Man, were we ever fortunate to see that guy, game in, game out for years)
And the body language on the third - he had to be pulled.
Edit to add: if you look at where the third goal actually went in, it was inside the post behind Markstrom. A bit better read and a bit of effort to push across - he may have gotten a piece and it would have looked like a brilliant save, because that shot was not terribly well placed.
