Hopefully Binnington is in the net, he's been a trainwreck and Greiss has been pretty good.
I will not watch the game live this time, so the Flames winning odds increase severely by that. 5-4 Calgary
Pretty good chance Looch doesn't get off the line with Kadri the next 2 games.

I can't recall the last time I saw a team go on a road trip and play back to back in the same town... now this is the 2nd time it happened this year! (back to back in San Jose about a month ago).

It's the trendy thing to do around here!

The should come out strong tonight with a pissed off Sutter in their heads from the last game.

Go Flames!

As Bingo said today in the Chicago PGT

"And being negative after a loss in Chicago in overtime against the worst team in the league is completely understandable. Expected."

So for me, not being trendy, just disappointed after the last game. Nothing more.

Ball mentioned teams liked it from the Covid year and that they were experimenting with doing it more. It might become a more common thing in the future.

The Blues are just one of those teams I can't get excited about as an opponent. I don't know why exactly.
Hopefully the boys feel differently!

The first six words of your post actually had me laugh out loud.

Thank you. My morning needed that.

Just you wait until teams have to stay in Edmonton for a couple of games. Experiment over!

They were also booed off the ice at home last time they played the Blues, so maybe that’s a motivator? The Blues have so many injuries on the back end, they should be in trouble. That being said, the Flames rarely seem to be able to take advantage of that.
Hoping for the best, but not really all that confident.
If they were on a 1 step forward and 2 steps back “string”, they wouldn’t be 6-2-2 in their last 10. Weird

Blues are below us in the standings. Two wins would be very advantageous going forward.

Opportunity knocking again for the Flames. Show us.

First, I said “feels like”. And it does feel like it to me. They had the “strength of schedule” going for them and won more than they lost, which is great, but do you really feel like they progressed in their wins over San Jose, Anaheim, or Vancouver? I thought the Isles game was good, but the string of games in the last 10 were still kind of worrisome. Tough games coming up so I guess we’ll find out. I want to believe…….

Other than the Chicago game they’ve played fine. So no, I don’t find the last 10 games worrisome.

Forgot about the win in Seattle. A very impressive comeback win against a team that had been beating a lot of teams this season.

Also the loss Vs Edmonton sucked but the flames were far and away the better team.

6-2-2 with a dominant performance in a regulation loss and a couple ot/so losses and people find the last 10 worrisome.

I don’t get it.
