McDavid's advice to Bedard; don't bother deferring to your teammates when you enter the league and instead try and do it all yourself...inferring that he did that early in his own career and it's set him behind in the stats game.
Of course becuase his disgrace of an organization couldn't attract decent NHLers to build a team around.

Oake actually asked him if he ever amazes himself when he is playing. As much as I dislike Connor that's the cringiest question- what the hell is he supposed to say to that? Oake continues to be embarrassing.

When Bedard entered the league, Oake gonna ask him is McDiver his favorite player growing up and did he model his game after him. I hope Bedard to him "actually, my favorite player growing up is Crosby and I'm trying to model my game after him."
