Really the Czech team probably deserved a better fate, start to finish they were probably the best team in the tournament but in the end 3v3 is a toss up.

... Really?
They won Silver because of a crazy last minute goal against Sweden in a game they were outplayed and were clearly worse tonight for about 50 minutes and most of OT. I think silver is an excellent result.

I don't think we as Canadians can fully understand how they feel. We win on a semi-regular basis, they don't so much, and it's been a long medal drought for them too.
To think that they were actually one goal away in OT from winning the Gold and being the best in the world...have they ever done that? It would have been monumental for them and their country, and they almost did it. Especially heartbreaking considering how hard they worked to come back in the 3rd.
I feel for them, I really do.

I wouldn’t even have felt bad if Czechs won. What was their last gold 25 years ago? Not like the Russians or USA where I have a deep seated hatred. Might even go so far as to say I was like 25% cheering for them.
