You know you can think a player isn't playing well while also holding absolutely nothing against him personally? He's been playing very poorly for most of this season. He was a scratch for the first time in a decade, for pete's sake. I'm glad to see him doing well even though, by and large, I've disagreed with his usage.
It's fun to see. But you have to keep perspective — it's the Sharks, they're one of the worst teams in the league.

Hardest strength of schedule was a major factor in not just the record but individual totals. It's easier to score on bad teams...duh

Something of a boring game, but the important part...is TWO POINTS.
Sutter at least looks credible tonight with Looch - even if it doesn't last; that's fine. If it works for a few games and lights a bit of a fire...that's better. And if Rosie steps in eventually to take his spot...no complaints!
Still too many defensive lapses and big gaps down the middle at times. Hopefully getting a few goals allows them the time and space to clean that up.
