Huberdeau need's linemates that can transition with speed and play with pace that can create and open up lanes/free space in the offensive zone. That's not something Lindholm and Toffoli are particularly great at (specifically Toffoli). That's exactly why he excelled with Duclair and Bennett. To me - Dube fit's that mold to a T, and those two have played just five minutes together at even strength and created 7 scoring opportunities together in those minutes - which is ridiculous. It really puzzles me why they haven't had a look together.

assuming Rooney is traded/claimed, wouldn't be surprised to see a Wranglers forward lineup like this tomorrow against San Diego:
Pelletier–Jones–Pettersen
Kerins–Zary–Schwindt
Sutter–Bishop–Duehr
McLain–Nikolaev–Gallant
Unsure on Pospisil's status right now and Klapka is a little banged up. Josh Brook was skating as a placeholder on the lines at practice today so it was hard to get a sense of the combinations, although lines 1 and 3 were pretty constant
certainly also possible that Rooney plays for the Wranglers tomorrow
