Agree with eunich that Phillips should play with Kadri and Mangiapane.
Move Mangiapane back to the left side and let Dube center the fourth line.
Best chance for Phillips to succeed if it is going to happen.
Reality of it is that Phillips will probably not even dress.
His call up is a marketing appeasement to the fans to say "Hey you asked for it, and we are giving Phillips a shot".
He won't dress and Sutter can say that Phillips just never looked up to NHL speed in the pregame skates to warrant dressing him. Nobody would know, and Sutter can then tell the fanbase to shut up with their opinions of what he should be doing regarding the lineup.

I thought the same thing but it would make you question why they called him up. He is eating cap space while he is up and we know how the club feels about that.
There is some value to traveling with the team I suppose, but I get the feeling Treliving would prefer the 20 bucks a day in cap savings.
Sutter may be royally pissed with some of his fourth liners.

Flames averaged 4 goals per game in getting taken out pretty easily by the Oilers in round 2. felt to me like offense wasn't the problem there (although fair enough if you want to hang part of the loss on the coach either way I'm not here to blindly defend him)

The Messiah has finally arrived. All is good in flames land now. It would be nice if he was fast. Tiny and slow does not equate well at the NHL level.If you are drafting smaller players they should be fast.This team is too slow. Dube is really the only burner we have and the top guys on the farm are not fast. I wish Phillips all the best. Lets see what he can do.

Where did most of the GF production come from? Which players? Goals against? As mentioned last season, I felt that Markstrom was an ok goalie that has gone on a tear.
