Crowd is loud. Wonder how much that plays into Canada’s performance as well

It's a shame Crepeau broke his leg. He has been very good for LAFC and was tremendous in both 2021 Gold Cup and the window against Mexico, Jamaica and Panama. Should be the #1 going forward.

Morocco have come out to play even though they just need a draw, refreshing to see.

tough start for Borjan. Not sure what he was thinking.

That said, Canada would not have gotten here without him.

the Morocco fans are relentless with their whistling.

I only started watching Canada games through the tail end of qualification. Borjan struck me as a bit of a liability then. I think it was the sweatpants. Every goalie I've seen wear those was of the wacky, eccentric, prone to gaffes breed of goalkeepers (Grobbelaar is first to come to mind). Is that a fair assessment of him?

No the sweatpants were his super power. His regression is due to taking them off due to the heat in Qatar.

Canada commits too many players forward. It’s good to create turnovers but leaves them prone to a good cross

Another simple long ball our defence can’t handle.

Teams have done their scouting. We can’t handle long balls over the top. We have positioning but not enough speed to deal with it

Canada don't look like they came to win today.

That said, Morocco look at least as good as Croatia so far and way better than Belgium.

This is looking like another 4 goals against sort of game.

Everyone has been so high on Miller, but he has been beaten down the middle multiple times in multiple games now. That 2nd goal is on both our CBs. Vitoria is poor too.

Morocco has a place in the final 16 to play for, and Canada is eliminated. Motivation was always going to be tough in this game for Canada.

Margins are slim and this tournament looks a lot different if Canada got the deserved result again Belgium, win or draw.
