A couple of stinkers in a row. This team is still trying to get things figured out this year, but they don't have infinite time in which to do so. The situation is starting to become urgent. Vegas and Seattle are pretty much out of reach, Kings are starting to pull away, and even the Coilers have leapfrogged the Flames. Can't rely on going on a huge run late in the season to salvage the season. It's imperative that they stay within striking distance of the teams in front of them.

Need to bounce back vs Chucky & the Panthers in a huge way.

Great game by Vladar, really should have been a 5-2 or 6-2 game. That was a real ass kicking by the Hurricanes. Grizzled old vets against young men out there.

This schedule to start has been just ridiculous with quality of opposition. The good news is it will get much softer down the road. The Flames will be fine and the negative crowd that are out in droves right now will go back into the woodwork like they were all of last season.

Pretty solid road effort against a very good team playing at home. Flames just don't have the kind of elite talent to compete with some of these top teams, and it showed again today. This team is in desperate need of another top 6 player who can put the puck in the net.

Full marks to Vladar for another outstanding effort. Really hope they give him the ball and let him run with it for a few games.
