Scoring Winger

There’s just no middle ground with Sutter. Things either go great, or they go horrible, and he is unwilling or unable (a little of both, more of the first) to adjust to change the course of the ship. It’s his way or the highway, and it’s 100% on the players, never on the system.
It just looks like the team is pretty much checked out, the core guys know they are here for the long haul, and the coach won’t be. So, they’ll just go through the motions and wait it out.
I don’t honestly see a change coming this year, but if they miss the playoffs, you would have to think Sutter will be gone.

I think Zadorov was going at the ref as I don't think that was offside.

The mistake this team made in the summer was paying to move Monahan and keeping Lucic on the roster for his "intangibles".
Terrible move and just stinks of how Sutter ran the Flames as GM. Move talent for tough guys.

I'm still mad at Lucic taking a stupid, stupid penalty to nullify Hanifin goal to make it 2-1 and didn't get benched. If any young player like Dube or Mang did that, they would be benched for the rest of the game.

That could be it but he also gave a death stare down the bench directly after that, haha.
These guy's are clearly frustrated, and don't appear to be having much fun playing the game. It's quite concerning.

Would he have done that here though ? Wasn't looking like much chemistry in his try out.

The system is the only thing keeping this team getting points while they are getting sub .900 goaltending and the new guys figure it out.
In 2013-14 when the Kings won the cup he promoted Tofolli and Pearson to the main club halfway through the season which kick started more offence. He is a patient coach but will make changes when necessary. He doesn't seem to live and die based off the last game like many fans do.

Signing Rooney on the first day of free agency was a head scratcher then and an even bigger wtf now.
Who would have thought that a player with a history of being terrible would be terrible on his new team?

Well, this team is disappointing to say the least
Thought they'd be better than this but they're just not very good.
Hopefully they can turn it around

Now we just need the coach, GM and owner to admit that. Then we can start to fix it

I would also say committing as a whole to 7+ years of already the second oldest team in the league was a bad bet to actually win a Cup.
Of course, the goal of this organization is to not win a Cup.

That was very uninspired hockey today, with the exception of the first period. I thought they had a pretty decent start for the first 10 or so and began to wilt after the goal, but still worked hard. By the second they'd stopped driving anything and couldn't get two complete passes in the O-Zone...just hopelessly lost. Fumbling and bumbling all over the ice. Too much party? Too little talent?
I'm finally moved to the "call someone up" camp and give the vets a kick in the ass.

Well I was piled on when I said we now have our own Benn and Seguin. Too bad that they are outperforming our new guys. Not fun right now.

Making the playoffs and getting three home games of revenue is this organization's Stanley Cup.

56 point pace is hardly a PPG.

Lucic could not be traded, he has a NTC.
Lucic was not kept for his intangibles.

are we not in a playoff spot?
They came out flying in the 1st but go down 1-0. We scored but lucic took a dumb penalty negating it, could add should have been 2-1.Just one of those games!
For as long as i can remember they have sucked in afternoon games.
Win tomorrow pretty good trip considering. It's not time to throw in the towel

It is hard to believe that such a massive gamble over the summer ended up with this piss poor product.
They can’t score.
They can’t defend.
The number 1 goalie is awful.
The Coach has lost his ####ing marbles.
It is a chore to watch this team.

If you can't move Lucic, you should at least scratch him.
