Washington feed just said that's a goal Markstrom doesn't allow unless its against the capitals because they have his number. Obviously they haven't watched him this season because that's his regular softie.

Brutal goal against, Markstrom was going cross crease on a centering pass. Terrible read, terrible form, not sure we see vintage Markstrom again, at his age this could be him slowing down permanently. Bring in the Wolf please.

Clearly there’s some shifting in the goalie matchups with Markstrom getting a pretty banged up and weak Caps team compared to Vladar getting the Canes.

Has flashes but can't bring it consistently anymore.

36.8 GF% was the worst on the team coming into the game (7 GF, 12 GA), and has the worst xGF among forwards as well (47.9%)

And really IMO isn't bringing the physical game consistent enough that it's a factor either.
