LAST TIME IN WASHINGTON: The Flames last trip to Capital One Arena was back in October of 2021 when they took on the Capitals amid a five-game road swing. Elias Lindholm was the star on that day, recording his second-career NHL hat-trick, including an even-strength goal, a shorthanded goal, and the overtime winner. I was going to take the afternoon off and watch it somewhere but with World Cup that looked almost impossible.

Third time playing a team on this trip while they wear their Reverse Retro jersey.....I guess we're the team that needs extra incentive for fans to buy tickets. Makes sense as a Canadian team from a small market in the other conference with no high profile players. No complaints here as we get to see all the jerseys in action
Hopefully we keep taking steps forward and get the win today!
