it was a great effort, and they dominated for 55 minutes of it

some people can only see, and only talk about, the other 5 minutes - like the only win we are allowed to enjoy is one where every single shift is perfect

Gotta say, now that I’m back from the game, the only goal on him was the second. The fifth goal was both a rocket and deflected. The fourth was post and in and was also just a bomb. You don’t get a sense of the real velocity on those two shots on TV.

The Flames sagged from the four on four, which is a situation favouring the team trying to come back.

On another point I wish the crowd wouldn’t boo Doughty any more. It has a reverse effect.

I always thought the worst part of the flames winning was it meant CP couldn’t be endlessly negative. But this new standard of winning and negativity slaps.

I want Sutter gone and he can take Markstrom with him.

Indeed. You're playing against another team and they are pushing and pulling against you as well.

It's not like you're just competing against a static inanimate object or field conditions.

After a 7 game losing streak I’m happy with any win. Was fun to see some offence. Hopefully it gets some guys going.

Thanks for the gifs tonight folks!

I gotta say, people are whining about the 4th goal. If that’s a Flame goal we are all saying “what a snipe” or “what’s a laser”. Iginla scored those on the regular and we didn’t say it was on the goalie.

Decided to hop on my friend's YouTube show tonight to recap the game. Toffoli was phenomenal.

One nothing, three to two, six to five I don't care, it's another win and shows these guys are figuring it out, really all that matters right now. It will clean up, Markstrom will get back on his game just like the rest.

Clean, dirty, greasy I don't care how you do it Flames just keep bringing those Wins.

Defensive coverage needs to improve more than Markstrom does.

Markstrom hasnt been on point bit the chamces the Flames give up, Im surprised at how shocked some people are with the GA in a game

7 high danger chances allowed ..... that's not a lot

the Flames generally have kept it under 10 against this season too

But as others have said, all teams give up chances. No game is perfect. But Calgary played a tight defensive game tonight keeping LA to the perimeter. This was a low chance evening.

That was 5 on 5 so here's all strengths. Hardly a poor defensive showing.

Daughter now 6-0 at games at the Dome. Turned 8 today, when 6-2 I was hoping they'd pot two more. Was not expecting a 6-5 final. Quite the ending.

For God's sake score some ENs
