I don't see anyone beating the Bombers. They're a really good football team. Solid. But go Argos! I feel so dirty.

Winnipeg is clearly the class of the league right now. Its pretty amazing they've been able to keep this consistent throughout the course of 4 seasons. Something I wish the Stamps were able to do when we had that string of consecutive GC appearances.

Their city doesn't give a flying **** about the team. I'd rather have passionate fans that can be annoying than ghost town fanbases like Toronto.

Plus, I completely disagree, Bombers fans have always been fantastic any time I've encountered them. Always super friendly, fun and nice to be around.

Or are you just talking online? I've never personally given a **** about online stuff. It's for fun and meaningless in the grand scheme of actual human interaction.

I will say that it was a pretty good crowd at BMO Field for the East final today (I think I read over 21K). Yeah, those numbers pale in comparison to what they used to be, but it was their best crowd of the season. They were loud as well.
/Over 30K at IG Field today to watch the Lions - Bombers game.

Agreed. Salty me doesn't like how Calgary couldn't win back to back Grey Cups when they were dominant in the 90s and 10s, so I kinda want to see Winnipeg have their own Argos 2017 experience. The playoffs seem too easy for them on this run, need some drama. I certainly prefer the Bombers as a franchise though.

Question? Am I misremembering or did there use to be a rule that a Grey Cup host had to have 50000 plus seating capacity? Obviously it was a rule it's gone now with recent Grey Cups, but I could have swore that used to be a thing?
