Good on rooney for saving a goal there

Devils are pretty good.

Imagine if the Flames had a forward group where Mangiapane was the grey beard instead of the 2nd youngest guy

This is what I see too. "Controlling the pace" is the best euphymism but the truth is the team is not fast enough outside of a few guys.

And I'm ready for a few guys to step up and stop making awful decisions and scaredy-cat plays. Hanifin could mature any year now for example.

Mackey looks like a lumbering oaf out there tonight, like the game is way faster than he's used to. Doesn't mean he can't adapt, but this is not a nice look.

This team looks really slow compared to the devils, sabres and.. the oilers.. I’m sorry

Jonathan Huberdeau has been completely invisible. Kadri has been impressive.

Well the shots are 12-5 so yes he is making a lot of saves. When players are left wide open in front those ones are quite tough to stop.
