He has won 2 cups as a coach but we all have our faults. Lucic and Lewis should not be any where near the top nine. Even though Lewis has played pretty good there. Ruzicka gets to play one game and he is out. That Lucic turnover the other night was terrible and if someone else does that they are out. It seems like two sets of rules when it comes to this. Shouldn't Ruzicka be given the best possible situation to exceed. I know his play has been lacklustre but at least put him with Backs and Coleman and see what he can do. Sutter even said himself last year he needs to play in the top nine.
I know when he has been put in the lineup he has not shown much but it would be worth it to try him with better line mates.When Dube made some mistakes he was taken out of the lineup for less than what Lucic did. It seems veterans get away with more and it needs to be the same with everyone. It is so important for this team to be able to add young guys into the lineup. They need to earn it but give them a better chance to succeed. Discuss.
Lucic has done far more good than bad this season...turnover wasn't even all on him, he nearly saved it actually after a really bad pinch considering the situation.

How can you say a player has been lacklustre and then suggest he deserves more opportunity? That doesn't jive with me.
The thing that I think is missed with Sutter is the culture he creates. You can't have the Sutter system without his culture, and he establishes that culture through players he trusts and have won.

It is interesting because as much as this is true I think Sutter also really loves both Dube and Ruzicka—this comes out in comments he has made and in how he uses them.
