But did the city get a grant recently to dole out to homeowners for Climate initiatives.
Where would you get information on that ?

I believe it was a funding announcement for the loan program they had previously talked about. Basically a low interest municipal loan for things like solar panels which is tied to your property tax bill.

The program is the Clean Energy Improvement Program (CEIP), more frequently called a PACE program (Property Assessed Clean Energy) in other parts of Canada and the US. The program allows homeowners access to low interest loans for energy efficiency improvements to their property that is repaid over long periods of time on their tax roll (i.e. 20 - 25 years). These types of programs have been around decades in other areas, however it is fairly new to Alberta (2 -3 years now).
